Alabama ONE is committed to investing in our members and their education. The Alabama ONE Aspire Foundation Scholarships were established for the purpose of empowering and investing in the higher education of deserving students who are a part of the Alabama ONE Family. We offer different scholarships to members based on where they or their family members work, go to school, live, or if they are affiliated with the Alabama Rural Electric Credit Union, a division of Alabama ONE.

You must be 18 years old to become a member; however, we also offer accounts specifically designed for children, Little ONE Accounts, and teenagers, Next Step Accounts.
The Alabama ONE Aspire Foundation ARECU Scholarship was established in 2018 for the purpose of empowering and investing in the higher education of deserving students who are credit union members who work for or receive power from an Alabama Rural Electric Cooperative and the dependents of those members. The scholarship may be used to cover tuition, fees, or books at any college, university, vocational school, or trade program.
The Alabama ONE Aspire Foundation HBCU scholarship is awarded to active Alabama ONE Members who are planning to attend a Historically Black College or University. The award may be used to cover tuition, fees, or books at an accredited Historically Black College or University (HBCU).
The Alabama ONE Aspire Foundation Community College Scholarship is awarded to active Alabama ONE Members in good standing to help with their higher education cost. The award may be used to cover tuition, fees, or books at an accredited community college.
The Alabama ONE Aspire Foundation Merit scholarship is awarded to active Alabama ONE Members in good standing exhibiting outstanding academic, athletic, artistic, or professional performance to help with post-secondary education costs. The award may be used to cover tuition, fees, or books at any college, university, vocational school, or trade program.
The Alabama ONE Aspire Foundation Need-Based scholarship is awarded to active Alabama ONE Members in good standing exhibiting financial need to help with their post-secondary education cost. Applicants will need to prove a Pell Grant greater than $1,000 for the relevant school year. The award may be used to cover tuition, fees, or books at any college, university, vocational or trade program
The Alabama ONE Aspire Foundation SEG scholarship is awarded to credit union members who work for a Select Employer Group Partner of Alabama ONE Credit Union and the dependents of those members. The scholarship may be used to cover tuition, fees, or books at any college, university, vocational school, or trade program.
The Alabama ONE Aspire Foundation Skilled Trade scholarship is awarded to credit union members who are planning to attend a trade school. The award may be used to cover tuition, fees, books, or supplies at any vocational school or trade program.
The Alabama ONE Aspire Foundation Team Member Scholarship to Alabama ONE Team members who have volunteered at least 5 hours at an Alabama ONE Credit Union event. The scholarship may be used to cover tuition, fees, or books at an accredited institution of higher learning, vocational, or trade program.
The Alabama ONE Aspire Foundation Next Generation Scholarship is awarded to the dependents of Alabama ONE Team members who have volunteered at least 5 hours at an Alabama ONE Credit Union event. The scholarship may be used to cover tuition, fees, or books at any college, university, vocational school, or trade program.
